INTRODUCTION
Saignelégier is the capital of the area of the Franches-Montagnes. The village offers inhabitants and visitors a comfortable atmosphere, numerous services and an excellent infrastructure.
The largest event in the Jura is the Marché-Concours. This national celebration of the Franches-Montagne horses draws thousands of spectators each year. In addition to the festival of Marché-Concours, various sport and cultural clubs from the area sponsor activities and exhibitions. In winter, Saignelégier hosts an exciting sport and tourist attraction – the International Dogsled Race.
Facilities such as a multi-purpose public hall, indoor tennis hall, riding concourse with riding school, bowling lanes, disco and campsite „Sous la Neuvevie“ attend to the needs of practically any sporting or leisure activity.
